Associate Partner
Madhura is an Associate Partner at StratJuris Law Partners and is a registered Indian patent agent (IN/PA-3682). She is a doctorate in Chemistry from SPPU, Pune and has more than 5 years of post-doctoral research experience in Bio-organic chemistry and Bio-catalysis from NTHU Taiwan and TUD Germany respectively. She had worked in CSIR-NCL, Pune as Principal Investigator on an independent research project granted under DBT-BioCare, India. She has taught biochemistry, organic chemistry to university students and delivered IP awareness sessions at educational institutes.
She has more than 6 years of experience in IP at her previous organisation, and in this role, Madhura has worked extensively on patent landscaping, patent prosecutions for domestic and international filings, technical and legal enquiries for infringement analyses in close liaison with internal and external stakeholders.
At StratJuris, Madhura has demonstrated proficiency in strategizing and tending to any and all stages of patent lifecycle – landscaping, gap analysis, drafting, prosecution, opposition, infringement analyses and invalidations – in broad domains involving Biotechnology, Chemistry, and their interphase including biologics, biosimilars, pharmaceuticals, organic chemistry, polymers, diagnostics, kits, food preservation, agrochemicals, agro-biologicals, biosensors, vaccines, ayurvedic formulations etc.
