Sonakshi Dhari Sinha

Sonakshi is an Associate at Stratjuris Partners working with the Data Privacy Practice.  Sonakshi graduated from Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, Pune, with a degree in B.B.A. LLB. She brings in the much-required expertise in matters pertaining to Data Privacy and gives routine data advises to clients.            

She has experience of handling GDPR projects with extensive business analysis and has a detailed understanding of Personal Data Protection Bill, 2018, UK Data Protection Act and EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). She is responsible for devising and delivering external training, seminars, webinars on GDPR laws. She has been actively involved in building a curriculum for ease of understanding of the working of GDPR including latest developments and its impact in day to day activities.

Further, she provides training, business support and advice to employees on GDPR and has vast experience of advising clients on the Data Protection Act and General Data Protection Regulation and Personal Data Protection Bill, 2018. She is also actively involved in advising and drafting Data Protection clauses in commercial agreements. She also advises businesses on how to prepare and comply with GDPR by completing data privacy questionnaires that are required for compliance audits/ tender bids/clients.

She has experience in negotiating, drafting and concluding general commercial agreements such as data processing agreements, service agreements, master service agreements, framework supplier agreements, NDAs, consultancy contracts, licensing agreements, reseller agreements and various policies such as privacy policy, cookie policy etc. She has an experience of occasionally reviewing tender terms and conditions (private and public sector) and is also involved in dispute management of various organizations in respect to personal data matters.
