Ankita Aseri is a Trademark Associate at Stratjuris Law Partners. She pursued B.B.A LL.B. (Intellectual Property Hons.) at National Law University, Jodhpur. She is a registered lawyer under the Bar Council of Rajasthan. Her interest lies in Intellectual Property Rights, Privacy Laws, and Cyber Law. She was the student researcher of Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) IP Chair at National Law University, Jodhpur. As a student researcher, she had played a substantial role in disseminating IP awareness and was a part of the drafting committee of the Geographical Indications Policy, drafted for the Government of Rajasthan, India.
Ankita has presented papers in international and national conferences. She has written papers on Intellectual Property Rights which are published in reputed Journals. She was a part of the editorial board of various reputed Journals like Bologna Law Review; Journal of Innovation, Competition and Information Law, etc. She has undertaken courses offered by KIPO, WIPO and EUIPO. She has participated in summer schools offered by WIPO. She has interned with Lok Sabha Secretariat which enabled her to understand the working of one of the most important democratic institution in India.
