Shivani is a Trademark Associate at Stratjuris Partners. She has an extensive experience in Intellectual Property domain, focussing on Trademarks and Copyrights. Shivani graduated from Institute of Law, Nirma University, with a degree in B.A. LLB (Honors) and specialization in Intellectual Property Rights Law. She is a registered lawyer under the Bar Council of Maharashtra and Goa.
Shivani’s area of practice includes trademarks search, filing and registration and further advising clients on use and protection of IP. Her area of experience includes counseling clients in worldwide trademark selection and registration, giving opinions, drafting agreements, trademark prosecution, assignment and opposition. She has advised companies in several sectors in relation to protection, growth and sustainability of their brands and has also advised clients on issues relating to infringement of their brands.
Shivani’s experience also includes monitoring the infringement of brands and further she has also assisted on issues pertaining to copyrights. Shivani has also worked on cross domain platforms like General Corporate Laws, Employment Laws and has also advised clients on sexual harassment issues. She has also drafted agreements including Franchise Agreements, Non-Disclosure Agreements, and License and Service Agreements.
